circe

Circe's story is every woman’s story. Circe is one of ancient Greek mythology’s most notorious protagonists. Daughter of the Sun God, Helios, and Ocean nymph, Perse, she is dismissed for being a woman, derided for her flawed beauty, and scorned for her ordinariness. Derived from the Greek verb ‘kirkoô’, meaning ‘to secure with rings or links’, Circe references the binding power of nature and connection. Each jewellery piece explores the motif of linkages and connection, interlocking circles and chains. Polished brass connectors link ropes of varying thickness and colour.
